The City of Longmont will be recycling Christmas trees for residents from December 26, 2009, through January 5, 2010. You can bring your tree to the Longmont Recycling Center at 140 Martin Street seven days a week (closed New Year’s Day) from 8 am to 4 pm or to one of these drop-off sites: Roosevelt Park parking lot at 8th Ave. and Pratt St., Garden Acres Park, west side of parking lot off 18th Ave., Kanemoto Park parking lot, west side of South Pratt Pky., Centennial Park, east parking lot at Alpine St. and Verdant Cir. Please remove all decorations and bags from the tree prior to drop-off. And please do not leave any other trash or debris at the drop-off sites.
