What does 1000 posts and perseverance have in common?
Today I glanced at my home page and realized that I have reached the 1000 post milestone.
When I first posted on active rain eighteen months ago a 1000 posts was not on my mind and that number would seem also out of reach.
In my early days on active rain there were many times that my posts would received little or no comments for days and very few views. It would have been very easy to call it quits and say blogging or active rain doesn't work. Instead I focused on my long term goals with active rain not the short term results.
Over the last eighteen months I have met a lot of great people in the active rain community and enjoy the communications. It not uncommon that when I'm speaking there are active rain members in the audience and the speaking is like talking to old friends.
Great information is being shared in the community and not a day that goes by that I don't find value with my association with active rain.
The benefits of active rain is not a one post thing it takes persistent, and like with any other type of personal marketing it takes times.
Our success with active rain is based finding our voice along with our commitment and enjoying what we are doing.
If you're new with active rain you to can achieve the 1000 post milestone, stick with it.
There are many opportunities available with active rain if we look for them.
