Creeks, streams, and rivers are precious in California. The state is filled with natural beauty like Yosemite and Lake Tahoe and the San Francisco Bay and delta region. Still, for most residents, free flowing water is not part of their daily existence. This steelhead spawning stream outside of Healdsburg contains one of the most spectacular long runs of waterfalls I have seen. Adding to the interest, Healdburg's first mill, built by the Heald brothers, is also part of this property.
