Frustrations

Before working as a loan officer, I worked as a paralegal for a real estate attorney.  I was his closing coordinator and worked on all of the loan closings.  This provided great experience for me but has not put me in an odd situation.  I get frustrated when I got into an attorney's office and I have to tell their closing department how to prepare the settlement statement.  I don't mind helping them out but hey...they are the ones getting paid to do that.  Oh well.  At least I know my client is better protected in the end by having me look out for them.

Haha! Not laughing at you, just with you. We ALWAYS tell unfamiliar attorneys how to prepare the closing package. Wait until you work in the back office for a direct lender - if it happens. I swear I believe we tell everyone how to do their job! But that's just me. Never been to Madison, how is it there?
