West Seattle media room design ideas

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with HomeSavvi

This time of year when the days are short and the football season is long, people spend more time inside watching TV, videos and playing games. Is your family room or basement comfy and inviting or is it messy, cold and uncomfortable?

Designing a media room can run anywhere from a several hundred dollars to hundreds of thousands. The variables include the video and audio equipment itself, installation, and of course the number of changes you make to the physical structure of the house.

The project on the left is from a whole house that had been remodeled. That simple, clean media room was set up to create a comfortable place to watch TV.The investment in media equipment was relatively minor.

The project on the right is from a basement remodel that was completely gutted and refurbished to provide an office, media room, and family room all in one.

Welcome to Active Rain Villette.. most new members do not post a blog for quite some time…. congratulations. It is a natural place to promote staging and remodeling. We joined AR around Thanksgiving, primarily to make use of the outside blog feature which has helped us get better placement on Google searches within subdivisions…(Localism is a major tool, make sure to check it out)…..A major side benefit of AR, is seeing what so many talented agents around the country are doing to build their businesses. A good way to get up to speed fast on AR is to check out the blogs of the AR staff…starting at the archives and reading forward. (Just search on Active Rain staff) The “ambassadors” write useful content as well and are good to follow. We look forward to seeing you around on AR, Best wishes, Peace, and Success in the New Year.
