Parts of Oklahoma are under a blizzard warning!
This is only our third blizzard warning here in the last 25 years!
Interstate highways are now being closed. Oklahoma City is reporting that they have 6 inches of snow already. Apparently there is a 50 car pile up out around Midwest City.
Here's a photo of our driveway. Doesn't look too bad does it? What you can't see, feel or experience is the temperature which is below freezing and the 30 mile per hour wind that is blowing. How about a video of it? Scroll down!
That weird sound in the video is the wind blowing!
The news just reported that the turnpike between Tulsa and Oklahoma City has now been closed.
If you WERE going to come to Oklahoma for Christmas, don't! At least not until Friday or Saturday.
One thing is for sure, the weather outside is frightful. Let's just hope we don't lose our electricity.
Guess we're going to have a white Christmas in Oklahoma!
