Abederdeen NC is located in the southern part of Moore County. It's a small town comprised of a historic downtown area and a significant amount or rural territory. Residents enjoy quick access to Hwy.'s 1, 15/501 and 5 and are just a short drive to popular Moore County shops, stores, restaurants and entertainment spots in Pinehurst and Southern Pines. It is also just a short drive to Camp Mackall and a very reasonable commute to Fort Bragg.
One of the newer subdivisions in Aberdeen is Sandy Springs. Located off of Raeford Road/Route 211, these homes range in price from the low to high 200's. Three and four bedroom plans, with most having 2 bathrooms. Square footage range is about 1,800 to 2,800. So far, about 25 units have sold since 2007 and construction is continuing in the neighborhood.
