For years I have been bemused by the way the press "reports" our local real estate market here in Denver Colorado. They use "More Homes for Sale Than Ever!" Houses Not Selling" type of headlines to attract buyers of the paper and therefore sell advertising. Well that is their job.
Mine is to let you know how it really is. Denver's market is muddled. WHile there are pockets with huge inventories areas such as Highlands Ranch which really did not exist in the bad old days only has about 715 single family homes on the market while all of Denver, population over 2.25 million has only 20, 500 on the market. There are some "FAST HOME SEarches at www.DenverRelocation.com that will compare southern cities like Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Centennial, Greenwood Village, etc, and they are live on-line searches.
While you are at it take a look at my other blog at http://highlands-ranch-real-estate.blogspot.com/ for some other comments on Denver's Real Estate market.
Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Centennial, Englewood and metro Denver, Colorado real estate information is available at www.DenverRelocation.com including searches for properties and homes.
