While it's the 28th of December 2009 all common knowledge but what you do with the balance of the year will determine you success for 2010! It's hard to believe it's going to be 2010. It seems to me there is great opporitunity waiting to be tapped in 2010. With the Tax Credit that has been expanded and extended everyone should be setting their goal and plans for the 1st quarter of the year.
For my wife and myself we do that the week between Christmas and the New Year. We go to our lake house (you can do it anywhere) take sometime off just to rest our minds and body. After a couple of days of relaxing we then start the review of last year and what we want to accomplish in 2010.
We own two office in Arkansas and are both listing and selling broker/owners. We will look at our ads, our listings and our agents to see what we need to grow over the next year. We are going to spend a lot of time over the next couple of days planning how to take advanage of the tax credit of the next 120 days. Its seems to us the hardest message to get out is the one about the 6,500.00 for purchasers who have owned their home for at least 3 years. So if you've got some ideals let me know.
As a broker/managern we are looking for ways to help our agent reach their goals. That is sometimes the hardest job!! It's also the most rewarding part of being a manager watching an agent grow their business beyond their wildest dearms!
Set your goals then help others set their goals.
