Getting Ready to "SHIFT"!

I was wondering why I kept seeing so many posts about this book!  Now I know, there's another Active Rain contest/promotion happening. And this book is the center focus. Now I'll be honest and say that since I'm late to the party on this one, I have not yet read the book. But anyone in the real estate industry already knows that a major shift has been happening in the minds of real estate buyers and sellers, and in the entire real estate industry. In order to succeed, real estate agents, and all real estate professionals will have to shift as well.

This book, which I've only perused, and have on order, is coming at a perfect time for me. Because I'm making BIG changes in my personal business plan for 2010. I've already begun making the changes, but I won't be making any big announcements until I have all my ducks in a row.

I have already "shifted" my thinking, and formatted a plan which is in the works. It's what is not only for ME, but for my family. After all, our families are a bigger priority than our jobs, money or even successful careers. Our families are those whose support we need, in order to make the important "shifts" in our lives. And sometimes, more than one spouse may be "shifting" at the same time! In this case (my case), concessions must be made. The same way we approach a real estate negotiation... with compromises and deciding what's most important... we "shift" our lives together, to support each other.

I hope this entices you to want to know about the big "shifts" my husband and I have planned for the coming year. And I'll be sharing the journey as we progress. Here it comes... ready, set, SHIFT!
