My Art, My Accessories, Their Furniture, A Realtor's Listing Showcased

By
Home Stager with Peachtree Home Staging LLC, Home Staging in Atlanta, GA

Ideally, when working with a home seller in preparing their home for the market I like to be able to go in and design my Atlanta area home staging presentation by using the furnishings and the accessories the home seller already has available.  This is the most economical home staging solution for the seller.

Sometimes, however, the sellers accessories are too personal in nature, or too dated in appearance.  So, while the sellers accessories are their treasures, there are other items within Peachtree Home Staging's large inventory that will exemplify the home's features for the interest of buyer and the home's target market.

Here are photos of a home in the Atlanta Metro Area that Peachtree Home Staging staged and furnished the art and accessories for the project.

Thx Kathy!  It's a huge house and the Realtors were a big help.  I think January will bring an offer.  Regarding the photos, well, I am learning.

Whoosh Karen, it looks great!  I love it when I the sellers have nice items that I can use and help bring down the cost.

It sounds like you are using your new Nikon and your photos are super.  I've yet to convince myself that I can justify the purchase, but I keep prodding.  Care to push some more?

Karen,  your photos look amazing!  Your accessories are very elegant, which really go well with the home.  I agree, using what the seller has first is always a good idea (if their accessories are acceptable).  Your first picture looks like a cover of a magazine - very clear, concise, with great design!  Kate

Karen ~ Wow -- what a well-presented home for sale!  Your accessories and art, and your careful placement of the sellers' furniture, made all the difference.  Your photos are amazing .... you're much too humble about your ability!  :-)

Ginger -- you go get that CAMERA!  You will love it!

Thx, Kate -- Made me blush!

Hi Maureen -- thx so much.  Glad to hear you mention the placement -- these folks put 3 tons of items and furnishings in storage for me!  But now they have less stress and are ready to less!

How is that camera working for ya!  The pics look great and the staging is very well done with clean lines for an occupied home. I hope it sells quickly for you.

It seems like sellers either have way too much, or not enough, too many little tiny items or things that just don't go.  Sometimes the solutions is to add the right accessories as you've done...great job!

Karen, you did a fantastic job!  This is a truly great example of occupied staging: using much of what a seller owns, adding the neutral items that create the wow factor and marketing with artful photographs.  Every agent in Atlanta should be calling you!

Super job, Karen! I like to do these kinds of stagings, as well. Your photos are looking really good, too! You're doing great with your new camera!

Can I offer you a tip? If you get a little lower (I'm usually on my knees, or just above counter height in baths and kitchens), you won't need to tilt the camera down to focus in on the part of the room you are photographing. This will help keep your vertical lines vertical in the photos. Using the grid on your camera's display will also help you line up edges and corners to keep them straight.

Keep up the awesome work! Of course, your staging is just superb, Karen!

Karen- I;m playing catch-up with everyone's blogs.  Your accessories, how you placed them, what you chose certainly enhance the seller's home.  It doesn't look like a "canned" staging project.
