The Future of FSBO's - Contract for Deeds/ Owner Financed Contracts in the coming years!

With so many home buyers credit scores ruined due to foreclosed homes in the past it has almost become impossible to get financed from Banks & Lenders for home buyers.

FSBO's & Contract for Deeds are going to be the wave of the Future unless the Banks & Lenders find ways of helping home buyers mend there F.I.C.A./ credit scores or lower the scores which in turn lower interest rates, which in turn would give home buyers a better chance of getting financed.

And if FSBO's & Contract for Deeds are the wave of the future and what will this mean for Real Estate agents across the Globe, (problems)!

I really hate to go into 2010 on a sour note but facts are facts!

Robert - We're just beginning to see the changes brought about by the current recession. We'll see many more next year, but it doesn't necessarily bode ill for the industry; it's just a driving force for change.

Bob, I admire players in every market that innovate and create to overcome obstacles and create transactions. There are other reasons that the lending vehicles you mentioned may find renewed life in the coming year(s). It's a secret shhhh ( they're inflation and rising interest rates).

Hi Bob-

Here in San Antonio, a lot of people own their homes free and clear; so more financing options are available to those sellers.  I remember the 70s and early 80s.  We could be seeing more owner financing options.
