Fisher Park is a beautiful Historic Neighborhood in Greensboro, NC. Near the center of town this little mini community is a wonderful collection of all types of historic homes from Victorian to Craftsman Bungalow. Just like many of our older neighborhoods Fisher Park centers around a small park with a natural green setting. As with many southern historic neighborhoods many of the homeowners know each other and watch out for each other and it is a very close knit neighborhood. They have their own website for schedule of events and wonderful pictures of the community; http://www.fisherparknc.org/ and a link to sign up for their own newsletter.
I recently had the pleasure of listing a home in Fisher Park and was surprised at the wonderful calls I received from many of the neighbors and their helpfulness and informative talks we had. The home was under contract in under two weeks and should close later this month.
I do personally love older homes just for the character and craftsmanship that went into their construction. All of these homes are not exception. Unlike your cookie cutter new construction Fisher Park has very unique and beautiful architecture with every home throughout the neighborhood.
Fisher Park is definitely one of Greensboro's hidden jewels that are definitely worth the search!
