Gary,
Thank you. Make sure to also stop by our office to say "hello" the next time. :)
Gerry
Oh these are lovely. Did you work with the color on Picasa? Those purples/blues are so pretty. I am just loving your photos!
Deborah,
Thank you. I did use Picasa to pull out the colors a bit more by playing with shadows and highlights. There are plenty more photos on my blog whenever you need to take a break and virtally visit my area! :)
Gerry, spectacular doesn't begin to describe these photos. Absolutely beautiful doesn't even do it. All the best of everything and limitless possibilities to you too!
Susan,
Thank you! I am glad you got to see these photos hard to describe with words. :)
The colors are fantastic! I hope the sky is the limit for you in 2010, Gerry! Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunrise -- now take cover! (red sky at morning, sailors take warning! :-))
Gerry - The thick borders you are adding to your photos make your gorgeous sunrises look even more beautiful.
Gary, very colorful photos. Cool composition... Happy FOO YEAR!!! nothing like spiked coffee at 0300 eh???
Mary,
You are welcome. That was a one day warning and it did not affect many people as most were skiing and not sailing here in Red Lodge. :)
Soshana,
Thank you. Only a few hours left till New Year here in America with part of the planet already in 2010. :)
Marc,
Some time in December I got the idea to use the borders and made them thick enough to look like picture frames. Next, I discovered you can also modify the color for the borders and it sure adds to the overall effect that I want to share with my photos. :)
Michael,
You must have started the celebrating early in Tennessee! Thank you for dropping by to comment early in the morning on this last day of 2009.
These are spectacular, Gerry. I use Picasa too. It's a great program especially since it's free!
Toni
WOW! And I really like the colors you put around them - it really brings out the colors in the pictures. Just stunning. Thanks for sharing.
Geri,
You are welcome. Thank you for the stunning review and for being a regular visitor to my blog. :)
Sue,
There is only a couple of photos I took in 2009 that I framed and hanged in my home (one was a photo of a moose outside my yard and the other a photo taken at Yellowstone National Park). If I had more wall space at my home, I am sure I would frame some more but I am just happy to share some of my best photos and the beauty of my surroundings here on AR.
I think I see a moose in that first picture, far right, upper ridge. Don't I?

Russel,
Perhaps you see more than what the rest of us can see. If I saw one, I would have also provided a close-up view.
Morning Gerry, You know I just love sunrises, not only for the beautiful color display but for what it symbolizes for me 'new beginings'. In your very early photos you captured some amazing sunrises, they are spectacular. Since I missed mine own this morning I will live through yours, today! Love the snowy mountain peaks in the background too Gerry.
Cynthia,
You know you are always welcome to check all the sunrises that I post on my blog. If you lived closer, I would have you over for coffee will we watch the beautiful sunrises together. Thanks for visiting this post.
Hello Gerry and I am so sorry I missed this post, but I didn't really! I remember seeing it quite a while ago and I wanted to feature it but I must have had a "Brain Fart"
I have featured it at one of my favorite cloud groups and I owe you one!

Once again Gerry "My Bad" your post is so old that it is not showing up on the feature page, now I really owe you one and feel really silly!

Beautiful sunrise Gerry. I've stopped in Red Lodge a couple of times over the years on the way from Oregon to South Dakota.
