Do you really want to purchase a home or are you pulling my leg?

There are so many people that are interested in purchasing a home, but how many of these people are on the up & up?

Sure they have between a 700 to 800 FICA score, have been qualified to purchase a home from 2-3 different lenders and have also signed a "Buyers Agency Agreement" form, so does this mean their serious?

There are quite a few people that are playing the game when it comes to wanting to purchase a home, but that's just what their doing playing a game.

Do agents need a (Six Sense) to be able to pick up on these types of game players?

Are there any (Red Flags) that come up when people are just playing the game when it comes to purchasing a home?

Would be great if we had a sixth sense so that we could fish out those who don't really want to buy, those who we find out can't buy, (right before closing!), those who don't really want to sell, etc..etc...  I would probably make a million if I had that sense :o)!!  Unfortunately, we just have to take the chance and there are some out there who are just seeing what their options are.  Good luck.

Bob, I couldn't agree with you more. It's as if they are expecting a euphoric feeling to wash over them that compels them to buy a home. They dabble on the computer for a while, mull it over in their head, talk it over with their spouse, toss a few dice, pull out the weegee (sp?) board, light some candles, go to a fortune teller, read a few tea leaves, talk to their therapist, and then they call us. And they are still not sure they want to take the plunge of home ownership. They want to see every home in the entire inventory, they want to pick apart every home as if it were brand spanking new, they want to him and haw, they want to think about it for the next few months, they want to read a few more tea leaves, and by this time, they've lost interest. Go figure!  If you have a crystal ball that can distinguishe the gamers from the real deal, I'll give you my address, maybe I can borrow it!
