I've been asked this so many times I thought it would be interesting to throw it out there and hear how people are celebrating (or not) the arrival of 2010. I'm having an early dinner at one of my favorite restaurants with my husband and neighbors and then we are coming back to watch television and play cards. I get the nesting urge this time of year and have never been a big partier, especially on New Year's Eve.
Anybody else?
My husband and I get together with my 2 sons and their wives and 2 grand-daughters and my daughter in laws Mom and Dad -- all of us wear our PJ's and we play games and eat --- Sometimes, we may have a few other friends join us -- Just a fun evening!
Hi Sandy, My husband and I nested on New Year's eve. Our children are grown so it was just the two of us playing video games, watching tv, snacking and drinking champagne until past midnight. By the way, I lived on Ft. Lewis for 2 years and I love Gig Harbor (although the last time I was there it seemed to have grown quite a bit, but still lovely.)

I visited San Antonio last year and loved it. It sounds like you had a lovely New Year's eve. My favorite.
