The sentiments offered on Holiday Cards/Christmas Cards vary greatly. Greetings can reflect the seasons religious occasion, celebrate the winter season in general, or be even broader in reflecting a seasonal wish. I haven't noticed as many variations on Happy New Year as a sentiment, most often it is Happy New Year in multiple languages. In the spirit of NEW I have created a quiz if you would like to try an alternate greeting for the new year. Select one or more answers as you desire.
I. Happy _______________ Year!
- just released
- au courant
If you want to recreate the phrase even more, after all this is a brand new decade, choose from the additional selections below.
II. _________________ (your choice from I. here) Year!
Just for fun and fancy here are your final options.
III. (your choice from II. here) (your choice from I. here) _________________!
- many a moon
Whether your New Year greetings remain traditional, are new from the choices above or you create your own new, I wish the best for you and your family in 2010.
Count your blessings.
