So you think your new tires are safe, eh?

Real Estate Agent with The Beeson Group, Inc. BRE #01869345

You might think this topic is not really real estate related, but it actually is.  We all drive back and fourth to work everyday, and some of us even drive clients around in the backseats of our cars.  Please watch the 20/20 video below... it could save your, or someone you loves life.

20/20 uncovers the dangers of old tires being sold as new across the country. There are codes on our tires that show when they were made that the general public could not decipher until now. Some tires are being sold by major retailers that are way beyond there expiration date and are more likely to come apart at high speeds.

There have been many deaths on our roads due retailers selling old tires to the general public that thought them to be new. After 20/20's program, I hope new regulations will take place to prevent this from happening and hopefully, they will be forced to stamp readable dates on our tires. If nothing else, after viewing this clip you will be able to see how old your "new" tires really are.
