As reported by the Bethel Citizen last week, the above headline left me wondering why he was quitting the race. After reading the full story, the term "Throws The Hat In" actually meant that he was entering the race for Governor instead of quitting. After speaking with a few other people, I noticed that 50% thought the same as me. Where does this saying originate and what is the real meaning of "throwing in the hat"?
I did notice that in the classifieds real estate section, one could pick up several new log cabin homes for under $200k each. In this ski resort area those homes would have been a decent buy a couple of years ago. It is still a great time to buy! Interested? Give us a call at 207-784-2525
