I was scheduled to be out of town Friday and not able to attend this event.  I am very disappointed to miss this.  I am meeting with these individuals prior to Friday.  If you need any assistance in this area, do not hesistate to contact me directly.  I have many contacts in this area such as a personal home health care assistant who stays with the individual in the home.  I can also assist with architectural needs such as designing/drawing the plans to make changes to the home to meet ADA handicap accessibility.

This is great information Laura.  The last company that I worked for began to market the adult safety inspections.  So far there doesn't seem to be much interest mostly because those same folks who "age in place," are the same independent type people that don't need any help!

But there are great simple things that can be brought to attention, like the throw rug on the carpet, that as we age we don't pick up our feet as well and throw rugs can become trip hazards.

Stuff like this has never been a problem before and most people wouldn't even think about it.
