NIMBY means Not In My Back Yard ...  Columbus worst place for a casino? A poll brought to you by Maureen McCabe Real Living HER

Let's go negative here on Discover Columbus OH - Columbus Ohio real estate and say where is the worst place in Columbus for a casino. I did a poll on another ColumbusBestBlog.com   Columbus Best location for a casino.

In November the state voted to change the Ohio constitution to allow 4 casinos.  Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus and Cinci.  The location of the Columbus Casino was to be in the Arena District in downtown Columbus.  There is local opposition to a casino in the Arena District.

On the poll on ColumbusBestBlog.com I said the Polaris location was the former Polaris Music Center but reading the Columbus Dispath today they say no specific Polaris Location has been identified.

Columbus worst place for a casino

1. Arena District

2. Polaris Area

3. Cooper Stadium

4.  Former Delphi Facility

5. Westland Mall

Today's Columbus Dispatch has a map which shows the 5 areas if you are not familiar with Columbus and they have a poll...  a bigger poll...  about where the casino should be.

Westland welcomes  casino

The January 1, 2010 article by Robert Vitale Casino ID'd the Polaris location as the ampitheater... that's where I got that.   Casino

Ohio....  the whole state may be voting on the issue in May.  Vote now...  I took the Arena District off the list to affect the outcome... because I want the site in my backyard to win, as worst.
