10 Things to do in St. Louis in 2010

What are 10 Things to do in St. Louis in 2010?

It is hard to narrow down the list to only ten things to do in St. Louis this year.  Our city is so rich in culture and activities, restaurants, and services.  After much contemplation, the following list emerged.  Be sure to put all of these activities and destinations on YOUR to do list this year!  (They are listed in no particular order.)

  1. St. Louis Gateway Arch

     8.  St. Louis Science Center

     9.  Six Flags St. Louis

     10.  City Museum

This was a very difficult list to compile as one could imagine.  This list just barely scratches the surface of what St. Louis has to offer.  I have written before about the St. Louis Art Fair and my love of the air show.  Kids love the Magic House.  We also have museums galore.  The Museums of Art, Contemporary Art, Modern Art, History, Natural History, Science and Transportation, the Dog Museum, and the  Museum of Science and History.  And what about the Missouri Botanical Garden- the jewel of our city?

By the time you have seen all of these attractions, you will be incredibly hungry.  It's a good thing St. Louis offers nearly every kind of cuisine possible.  One area not to be missed is the Hill.  Italian cuisine is king here.  St. Louis, of course, also has it's own style pizza that is immortalized by Imos.

St. Louis is a city that is easy to navigate, especially after the recent completion of Highway 64.  The two year project has made a huge difference in the ease of travel through our city.  St. Louisans will tell you they can usually get from point A to point B in 20 minutes.  The completion of 64 certainly assures that that fact will remain true.  Whether you want to sightsee, learn, have fun or eat great food, St. Louis is the city for you!

Jim and Linda,

I was just through St. Louis with my family over Christmas.  We wanted to stop but had to keep moving on to Kansas City.

I'll keep this list and the next time we're coming through we'll stop and check out the area.

Thanks for the post.  Have a great year!
