Hey gang a little help?  I am considering a new web site.  Has anyone used RealtySoft and care to share there opinion of them.

Are there other web site providers I should consider?

Thanks,

Rob - I was just wondering the same thing! I saw their banner here on AR (pretty hard not to notice it) and was interested in their free IDX solutions. I'll keep up with this to see if you get any good responses from customers of theirs.

Hi Rob, the three companies I'd recommend are ARC Media Consultants www.arcmediaconsultants.com contact Emilio Yepez [emilio@andyrodriguez.com], Decipher Labs http://www.decipherlabs.com contact Charles C. Irizarry [charles@decipherlabs.com] or Oxidev Interactive www.oxidev.com contact Hrayr Mirozoyan,  Hrayr@oxidev.com

I'm a commercial insurance agent and one of my areas of expertise is technology and cyber liability insurance and these are the three best companies I've come across in the industry for the price. I created my own site at www.alcrisk.com, but it was very time consuming and get a little confusing.

Rob,

I guess it would depend on what you plan to do with your site and what's in the budget.  You might take a look at blogtomato.  They're here on AR and do custom wordpress work.

If you want a full custom site, it's going to be pretty spendy depending on what functionality you want.  You also want to make sure you own the code for any custom work you pay for.

Rob,

I suggest that you don't use Oxidev Interactive. I did a project with them a little over a year ago and still have no site. They sweet talk you at the beginning but then give you nothing but excuses as to why they perform so poorly. Plus their turnover rate seems to be pretty high, there was always someone new on my project. I'm currently in the middle of trying to get my money back, it's been a nightmare. Good luck to you on your blog redesign!

Rob,

Please feel free to check out our Agent Websites at  www.agentelement.com

I think you will really appreciate our professional templates and point and click set up (very easy to use).

The websites also have a built in Free IDX. We are not currently servicing the Northwest MLS but we offer a Google based property search that would give you a national search ability as well as your local area.

I am the creative director at softRealty.com (inverse of the company you are asking about) and we offer Agent Websites through agentelement.com.

Let me know if I can answer any questions for you or help you with any of our products.

Thanks for the recommendations guys.  I will check them all out.  What I am looking for is one place to have a great google map based search IDX and also display two blogs.  Obviously I need all the additional bells and whistles that we Realtors need.  Money is tight right now so I won't go nuts.

Ashley, feel free to call realtysoft.  They are pretty helpful.  The IDX feeed is free unless your MLS charges a fee.  Mine actually charges more per month then the site would cost me :(  It sounds to me like they are pretty plug and play.  You have full control of the modules you have on your page at any given time and you can change them at any time.  No set up fee.

Thanks again
