"There are very few people who can give you hope..."
This client came to me via a mutual friend on facebook. Grasping at straws, she reached out to a friend on facebook and shared her painful situation. It seemed hopeless.
The house was about to go into foreclosure and the advice from all sides was to file bankruptcy.
She asked for help, but the advice from attorneys, out of state agents, and relatives was not right for her Ohio situation!
Her facebook friend knew me and asked if I could help.

I asked her to tell me what happened. I could see the hardships she described qualified her for a short sale. But there was a second mortgage with the city - what would happen with that?
She filled out all the paperwork necessary and got me all the documents requested immediately. We began the short sale process with the bank and the City of Cuyahoga Falls.
We negotiated the second mortgage first, with a great amount of cooperation from the City of Cuyahoga Falls. They were wonderful to work with and I am very grateful.
We lost our first cash buyer, but another came along in a day.
We were in contract in 12 days, and closed in just over 2 months from listing.

From hopeless to hopes fulfilled...a great way to end 2009 and begin 2010.
