Get a Home Inspection Done!

If you are buying or selling your home you should have a home inspection completed, why? It protects your interest, if you are a buyer a home inspection will discover if the home has major issues, minor issues and determine future repairs that may be needed. If you are selling your home you should have a home inspection completed because most of us don't see that our home needs repair and in this market you want your home to sell and not scare off a buyer because of repairs. Here are some pointers or practices I do when I show homes to buyers and on a listing presentation with a seller. I'll point out visually apparent issues such as, wiring, roof condition, plumbing, grading or drainage and overall up keep, but in doing so I point out that I'm not a home inspector. I do this home condition review with my clients to let them know how to look at a home with a more critical eye.  Please read this article on home inspections.

Susan,

What can I say other than "WOW". I read the article and I was impressed on how the article was written and the information concerning the inspection. I myself enjoy working in the Home Inspection field because I enjoy helping my clients. It is also a joy to work with agents who take a honest stake in helping their clients make things happen when it concerns the sale or purchase of their homes. Thanks again for this post, and may you have many happy sales, and inspections
