and is taking home the National Championship trophy for the first time in 17 years. It has been a year of firsts for Alabama...1st Heisman trophy, 1st National Championship under head coach Nick Saban, and the 1st time Alabama has beat Texas. Congratulations Alabama...# 1!!!

Well it was quite the year for the Crimson Tide. Congratulations next year USC will be hanging around.
