Columbus Ga Homes under contract this week end

Columbus Ga., fourteen area homes went under contract this week end.  More than a dozen purchasers stopped looking at homes and  made the decision to buy a new or existing home.  Three homes were sold in the Alabama area, two in Meriwether County and nine in the Columbus area.  The price ranges were $449,900 to $49,900. The average price was $186,000.  What does all this mean in the grand scheme of things?  Not much!  It is a fact that people will always need and buy homes.  It is a buyers market, particularly for homes that have lingered on the market a bit longer than usual.  Is it a good time to buy a home?  Always, depending on your needs.
The absolute best way to make an informed decision is to find a reputable realtor.  Shop around, find someone you make a connection with and somebody you trust.  There are hundreds of great realtors in the Columbus Ga. area and they have information that is not readily available to you.  Days a home has been on the market, will give you some idea how willing or motivated the sellers are.  Comparable homes sold in the area will give you a value comparison, in dollar amounts, of homes sold in the neighborhood. So go out and make a new friend and let a realtor help you find the home you want.

You are correct when the need arises it is a great time to buy a home.  In the Columbus area is it also a good time to buy investment property?
