It's Girl Scout cookie sale time again in Jacksonville FL! The sale starts January 8th and the troops are pumped and ready to go!
The girls conduct this popular cookie drive every year in Jacksonville FL to pay for things such as camps and field trips. I think this is a wonderful tool for young girls to apply principles they will need later on in life. Such as how to run a business or budget.
I have 2 daughters in the Girl Scouts each one equally competitive. It will be interesting to me to see how they do. Have they learned anything from me about how to treat their customers? How about listening to their customers wants and needs? Will they be able to help their customer choose a cookie based upon likes, dislikes or dietary concerns? Will they be prepared and efficient getting change for customers and respectful of their time?
These are things I have tried to show my children through how I treat my buyers and sellers in Jacksonville FL. I can't wait to see what they have learned Mom.
