Views from La Ridge in La Costa, CarlsbadHere's the deal. The Plan 2 model home is available for purchase with a lease back by Shea until May 31, 2010. This 4,792 SF home with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths is stunning. No furniture is included (but for $100K could be) but the home is highly upgraded, as you would expect, and all the landscaping is done. The price is $1,549,000 and there are some great views.

Your last option is a Plan 3 home currently under production with 4,873 SF, 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. There is still some time to select the flooring. This home should be ready to move in in June 2010.

HOA dues are $263/month and property taxes plus Mello Roos fees total between 1.2 and 1.3%. Children will attend the San Marcos Schools - the La Costa Meadows Elementary School in La Costa is across the street from the entrance to La Costa Ridge.

There are 2 resale La Costa Ridge homes available - one, a 2545 single story home priced at $1.085 million built in 2008, the other a 4092 SF property with 4/5 built in 2006.

The Carlsbad real estate market at La Costa Ridge is fast slipping away. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire a new construction or model home at La Costa Ridge.

S. Carlsbad sounds like it's become an extremely popular place to build Jeff! Hope buyers don't mess out on their chance to purchase in Messina!

Curious, is it common in your area for home to be sold furnished?  You'd rarely find that here in the Raleigh area.

Lee and Pamela - indeed it is. There is now almost no large buildable land left. Glad we have a fair a,mount of preserved space. And the new homes that are getting built are sellign,m some even before construction.

Jeff, is that the Pacific on the horizon? It kind of reminds me of the "upcountry" homes on the lower parts of the mountains in Maui. They were way out of town, but could still manage an ocean view.
