Sellers, Now is the Time --- If you need to sell, there is no time like the present. The government tax credit is going to expire (contracts must be in place by the end of April). Buyers are now coming out in increasing numbers.
Inventory is low.
Interest rates are starting to go up (which will eventually reduce the number of qualified buyers).
In order to be able to market your property to the maximum number of buyers at this point, and get a contract that is acceptable to you into escrow, the time to list is now. We highly recommend preparing your home to be on the market no later than February 1st or as soon as possible.
