Tips for being green and saving Money $$$

By
Real Estate Agent with Bean Group

It seems that everyone is trying to be more green these days.  Whether their inspiration is for the greater good of the planet, their body or their wallet being more green can only be a good thing.

As a Realtor I get many questions from clients about whether or not making energy effecient changes to their home will be beneficial in regards to resale.  Many buyers are looking for green homes and many builders are becoming energy star rated?  What all this means is for another blog but I wanted to share this great tool I found:

Welcome to Active Rain Bridget . Congratulations on joining the game here. We joined AR primarily to use the outside blog feature combined with Localism. These two have helped us get better page placement on Google searches within subdivisions. They’re worth checking out.

A side benefit of AR is the ability to learn from other agent’s social media creativity and make friends for future referrals. One good way to learn to use AR fast, is to read the posts of the AR staff and the “Ambassadors”. Good stuff there.

Peace, and Success in the New Year,

It does not take a lot of affords to be ''greener''. For example, by not not using paper plates, plastic spoons and folks, not using plastic battles, you can save $500 in a year, not mentioning not creating a huge amount of waste.
