Buyers beware!
It is safe to say that there is a percentage of first time home buyers who are not well versed in the finer points mortgage financing. Real Estate agents and brokers therefore have a responsibility to guide first time home buyers through what can easily become a tangled maze. If you are thinking of buying a home and you are not pre-approved, you need to do so right away. If you feel that you are not equipped to make a final decision you should be able to use your Real Estate sales professional as a spring board for questions, key points and direction.
Real Estate professionals, as a whole need to immerse ourselves into all aspects of the home buying process, not just the ones that we touch directly on a regular basis. Anyone who has helped guide a first time buyer through the process I am sure would agree with me;
So Buyers, when reviewing which real estate agent/broker to sign with make sure to calculate their knowledge in all aspects of homeownership, not just the obvious knowledge of the local market.
