If you'd like to search these properties on Kauai's MLS (Multiple Listing Service), visit http://www.kauaihawaii-realestate.com and click on "Kauai Home Search." Click on "MLS # search" and enter the MLS # into the search box.

Keep in mind, when buying an REO property, the Seller (i.e. bank) wants you to be pre-qualified or pre-approved and in some cases also provide proof of cash funds (i.e. for your down payment). In all cases, the property is sold "as is." If anything here interests you, let me know. Or if you're interested in real estate owned (REO) condominiums, drop me a line and I'll send you a list of those.

Mahalo & have a great day.

These prices are a lot better then I expected for HI. I went to HI for two weeks last summer. Best summer by 100 miles.

Some friends of mine just returned from a 2 week Christmas vacation in Hawaii.  They seemed to think that you would need to be a millionaire to live there, however some of your prices sure don't seem completely unreasonable.

Paradise!  That's exactly what Hawaii is to many people.  Wouldn't we all love to sell real estate in such a beautiful area?

Aloha,

Steve: I don't know which island you went to, but all the Hawaiian islands have something special. Glad you enjoyed your time last summer. Isn't it time you returned?

Heather: If you go to this link and enter the MLS # for the properties that interest you, you'll see photos and more details.

If you're coming in July to look at properites, I'd be happy to give you a complimentary subscription to the "Preferred Homebuyers Weekly Scoop" - it's an email I send out each Monday that will help you stay up-to-date on what's on the market, what's selling, etc. Email me with your email address and I'll add your name if you're interested. Or sign up for the Weekly Scoop at http://www.kauaihawaii-realestate.com/optin.html

Robert: While there are multi-million dollar homes on Kauai, as you can see, you don't have to be a millionaire to own a piece of paradise on Kauai. If your friends are seriously interested, have them sign up for the Weekly Scoop (mentioned above) or drop me a line at dajason@hawaii.rr.com

Katie: Yes, I'm very fortunate to live in such an incredibly beautiful location.

Mahalo (thanks) to each of you for your comments. Come visit The Garden Island sometime soon!

Here's to a fabulous 2010.
