The people who came up with this idea have hit upon something that can change politics in Washington DC forever. Their idea is to get politicians to agree to spend 75% of their time in offices local to their constituents. They could telecommute just like many of the rest of us.

Notice that their solution favors no political party. A candidate pledging to follow this plan can use it as a means of satisfying a large number of potential voters. If one candidate signs for it, the opposing candidate will have to do the same or potentially lose the votes associated with doing the RIGHT (vs wrong) thing.
A couple of candidates here in Arizona have committed to do it. Let's work on the rest of them starting right here in Arizona Congressional District One!
