Bring Home the Politicians -- What a TERRIFIC Idea!

The people who came up with this idea have hit upon something that can change politics in Washington DC forever.  Their idea is to get politicians to agree to spend 75% of their time in offices local to their constituents. They could telecommute just like many of the rest of us.

Benefits to Bringing Home the Politicians

Notice that their solution favors no political party. A candidate pledging to follow this plan can use it as a means of satisfying a large number of potential voters. If one candidate signs for it, the opposing candidate will have to do the same or potentially lose the votes associated with doing the RIGHT (vs wrong)  thing.

A couple of candidates here in Arizona have committed to do it. Let's work on the rest of them starting right here in Arizona Congressional District One!

Funny - we want to fundamentally change Washington - isn't that what Obama promised?

Now, there's Hopa and Change.  They certainly would have a better pulse on their constituents wants.

I like this idea. Get them away from the DC ass kissers. It could work.

I love the idea however I do not think many of them would dare. They have done so much to anger so many I wonder if they will ever return home.

This can never work.  Do you have any idea how hard it is to confer a $100 handshake over the internet?

I say send them home, and don't give them an internet connection, they are all easily replaced.

As things stand now, our hope of making the "Bring the Politicians Home" plan is to replace all those who are in Washington that are there for the graft and corruption with new LEADERS who will fix the problems. The plan is to get those currently running for office to agree to this concept and to run on this as part of their platform.  We have to drive those out who will not agree.

Get the Corruption out of Washington.  This also applies to state and local politicians all the way down to school boards and planning and zoning.
