Your keywords should show up 2-4% of the time.

Shouldn't have too much content 300-500 words per page.

Age & Size

site:www.website.com (will tell you how many pages are indexed by google)

Older sites get preference

Page Titles & Descriptions

Name pages on website with pages you want to rank for

Descriptions have to match title

Links

One of the most important thing you can do to rank your site.

Google likes to see one way links, not reciprocal links.

Link text for phrases you want to rank

link:www.website.com (will tell you how many links are going to that website)
