Stunning Visuals of Vancouver

Lions Gate Bridge VancouverWow...It's suuny in Vancouver today after a few days of torrential rain. It can rain for 40 days and 40 nights but it onty takes one  day of sunshine and all is forgotten. Every day I have the opportunity to drive across the Lions Gate bridge, I look forward to it.

The view is spectacular of the downtown, the ocean and the occasional cruise ship and every other kind of boat you can imagine. Coming back downtown across the bridge, what really stands out is the Shangrila tower, the new convention centre, and of course the Four Sails of Canada Place, which are all awe inspiring.

A lot of people that live on the North Shore do not enjoy the drive, however, I find driving through the causeway and onto the bridge very peacfull and calming; even if there is a lot of traffic or the odd backup.

Try it sometime and take your mind away from the traffic or congestion, and really slow your mind and eyes down to take in the ambience, view, and majesty. You'll be glad you did.

For the people who live and work downtown, commuting to and fro the North Shore when out on our jaunts, we're glad for the views, the bridge, Stanley Park, and the ease and accessability of the local mountains and ocean. That's why I live and work in downtown Vancouver, happily serving the condominium real estate buyers and sellers.
