Here it is....The year end figures of home sales in the Fort Benning area in Georgia.
This includes the cities of Columbus and Midland and the counties of Muscogee, Harris and Chattahoochee
The year ended with a total of 1746 homes sold at a median price of $147,000. The average days a home stayed on the market was 128. A total of 3271 new listings were taken. The total volume of homes sold for the year was $288 million. Not too shabby for a slow economy.
We should see an increase in sales this year due to the first time home buyers tax credit being extended as well as the new credit for existing home owners.
