Queen Anne Seattle

There is a lot to know about how Queen Anne fits into the Seattle real estate market. You have to take many aspects of a neighborhood into account before you make the decision to move there. Here are some observations to take into account.

One of the most prevalent decisions to make is how bad do you want to live here. What are the pros and cons? These choices are different for each individual person and family. Some of the pros for your list could include average appreciation rates, schools, how busy the neighborhood is, to the views of the city that are offered.

Many people take into account the type of architecture this neighborhood has. The neighborhood’s very name was based on the Queen Anne style architecture that many of the homes were built on. Walking down many of the streets offers a wonderful look back in time to the 1920’s and 1930’s.

The boundaries of Queen Anne are from the northern boundary of Uptown north to the canal that separates Lake Union from Elliott Bay. The western boundary is 15th Ave W and the eastern boundary is roughly 8th Ave N. The eastern boundary is a little fuzzy but does not include Westlake Ave. Click to a map of Queen Anne.

Queen Anne offers other views of Seattle other than from Kerry Park. The east side of Queen Anne has views of Lake Union which are perfect during the Fourth of July celebration from down on the water. From the west side of Queen Anne you have spectacular views of Elliott Bay and Alki Beach. There is a great fireworks display on this side of the hill as well.

That is truly an amazing understanding of neighborhoods, information and awesome photo journalism.  You have got to be the man!

Keep up the good work.  I look forward to seeing future video tours and Seattle neighborhoods.  Can you also begin to add neighborhoods, like Bellevue, Renton, Kent, Kenmore, Federal Way, Des Moines, Tukwila, Burien, etc.?   I'm sure your information on those areas would be appreciated!

Thanks!
