I sent a post in the other day http://activerain.com/blogsview/1413680/speechless-sunday-stop-and-take-it-in-  and included it accidentally in this group. You see it was a Speechless Sunday post which words are discouraged on the post. I recieved shortly after an email telling me that they had to remove this post from the group and encouraging me to re-post it with the proper amount of words to qualify for the group. Well, here is my repost. (I hold no ill will toward my post being removed previously. I understand the group rules and agree with them.) The group was ActiveRainPhotoBlogger

I was rushing around one day and was getting ready to go into my house and I looked to the west and saw this beautiful sunset

It was beautiful, I grabbed my camera and began trying to find the right spot, zoom level, and tried hard to decide if I wanted to shoot in a manner that you didn't know I was in a neighborhood.

I enjoy moving from spot to spot to see different views of the sunset

Great colors but kind of boring in my opinion so then it was time to move behind the tree to add some contrast.

When I got ready for my post I had to choose a shot for my Speechless Sunday Post and I chose this one.

Randy, those are great shots, good eye. I even liked the shot of the clouds by themselves, awesome colors.

It is so nice to see the blue skies in your photos!  We had been socked in fog for weeks here in Sacramento.  Finally today, the sun came through!  Your top picture gives an almost turquoise sky!  Amazing color!

Morning Randy - Thank you for adding words to your post, and reposting to the group! I'm especially glad you did, because I like that you were really thinking about what you saw thru the viewfinder, and what you hoped to achieve when making your images. The one you chose as your favorite, is my favorite too! The tree adds dimension to the shot.

Randy, I love seeing winter sunsets.  Very special.  I used to live in Colorado and love those western skies.  Thanks for sharing.
