Lost w/o My PC!

OMG!!! (Oh My Gosh!) I feel so lost!  My beautiful, wonderful, faithful PC crashed over the weekend!  I have to send it away to be fixed! (Not even the GEEK SQUAD can fix this!)  So, here I sit at the office, using a "community" computer. (Yuck!).  I actually feel sick.  I find it very hard to believe that I have come to rely on a piece of equipment with ALL of my worldly information!  My goodness!  What did we do 10 years ago?  Everything I do is logged on that pc.  Every contact I have is on that pc.  All the important dates in my life; is on that pc. I can go on and on!  Where does it end?  This dependence we have on our computers?  I don't even remember when I got "roped" into using one like I do now.  I used to be so; I don't know; free! Unincumbered with the fact that every one else was dependent on a computer, and I was actually conducting my business "the old fashioned way"! Whew!  HP tells me that I will be without my "precious" computer for a week to 10 days.  How will I survive? I guess I shall find out soon enough.  I will have to find the humor in this situation. (yeah, good luck with that!). Anyways, I hope that none of you go through this inconvenience; and those of you that have; why didn't you for-warn the rest of us?

I'll stop for now, and try to go be productive. LOL! TTYL! :)

P.S. I guess I should mention that I was able to save some stuff on my pc. But, not everything!

Sandra, sorry to hear about your computer problems. I mentioned to someone on ActiveRain today that I have all of my data stored on an external hard drive.  Consider buying one yourself when you get your computer back. I have one made by Western Digital. It was very easy to set up. Basically just plug it in and you're ready to go.  Good luck.
