Omaha Real Estate Market December 2009!
Here is a break down for December 2009 Sarpy County Market Report. Active listings continue to decline by 10% to 20% compared to 2008 and 2007. Sold listings for December 2009 drop from November 2009, but are flat compared to 2008.
The decrease in active listings has helped stabilize home prices, but pricing continues to be under pressure. The drop in number of home sales can be contributed to cyclical factors in real estate and the holiday season. I think buyers and sellers will start looking and selling in the next few weeks. Two blizzards in December and a cold streak in January will not help activity.
