So, I think I am pretty computer savvy. I wanted to do HD photography and found a site that promised it for free with five stars....oh, yeah. Whose five stars? Well, I downloaded it and read the tutorial and then, declined the yahoo toolbar, the blah-blah, the blah-blah-blah, the blah-blah-blah-blah, and it intstalled. Great. Now, what do I do. No explanation of how to use it. But, guess what, I have a new browser. Something called My Freeze. Yay! All kinds of muckety-muck. Sorry I'm partial to my own web brower, which does a mighty fine job for me and has my email at a click. While all this was transpiring, I lost a BPO for $75.00 US Dollars which would have been a nice sack of groceries for the household.
Lesson learned? Oh, yes. Free is NEVER FREE and watch your back every moment. It took more than twenty minutes to rid my computer of all the &?^%# it tried to upload. Four stars! Right!
