Let's start with shrimp & wine
Followed by barbecue spareribs

Early in the day Hubby cuts the ribs apart with sharp knife. In crock pot pour beef broth and half bottle of barbecue sauce. Add ribs and cook till tender, but not falling off bone. Remove ribs from crock pot, and transfer to grill or broiler. Brush barbecue sauce on ribs. Grill.

Peggy--Me, too, since my father rarely made himself a sandwich. Well, he had mymother and three girls and son who became a chef in navy. Stop in for dinner.

I didn't see anything about dessert, so I'll leave you a piece of pumpkin pie.
Now that the January thaw is upon us, firing up the ole grill sounds good. Now to get some ribs...
Irene--Yes, Hubby is my Special Guy, but I take pretty good care of him, too. We call it our Mutual Admiration or Team Yonkers.
Russel--Better yet. Why don't you fly in with the pie and we will make dinner for you?
Michael--Let us know when you are in the neighborhood and we will put a rack on the ole grill. Wine or beer? What's your preference?

I had to pop to say you inspired us to have ribs last night in the middle of a Canadian winter :0)
This does fall under the heading of priceless. I do like cooking for Sheri also and trust me she likes it as well.
Steve--Good we might be over. Tonight is leftovers.
Susan--During the winter months we use the broiler instead of the outside grill. Not quite the same, but still tasty. Mm-mm-mm.
Robert--Hmm-mm--mm. I think so, but LUCKY describes you & I. Sounds like Sheri enjoys what you fix, too.
Tammy, he's my favorite, but your offer to cook lunch at the office sounded pretty good, too.
