There is something almost magical about watching the sun set. I don't often get a chance to capture it on film and I definitely don't often have the chance to watch it set over the Mediterranean Sea.
Both these shots were taken minutes apart. As the sun sinks and gets close to disappearing the light also changes and gives the dky a whole new and different look.

Sally - Thanks -I actually came home from this trip via Turkey and had a 5 hour delay for my connecting flight. (Didn't get to see too much of the country other than thei Istanbul airport which is definitely one of the nicer ones I've ever visited).

Lora, My husband works for an airline so I think that was part of her attraction. She has always traveled. I do have to admit she now travles to more exotic locations though.

Lora, Those are beautiful shots. I love sunsets over water, just seems to make them so much nicer.
Beautiful! I LOVE that first shot. It's really amazing. That view of the ocean and the sunset between those rock silhouettes is truly spectacular.
