Photoshop Layers | Replacing A Background

By

Sometimes you just can't have a background remain what it is to get a mediocre shot more toward a good shot.

In photoshop, (Gimp has the same tools and it's free - Google: Gimp Photo) I used the clone stamp to paste the beach over the bystanders' feet.

Second, I decided to blur the background (this requires selecting the couple carefully - a little tedious but needed to be done carefully) and finally apply textures to the shot.
