There are lots of opportunities to buy property and fix it and turn around and sell it. There are strict guidelines but it has become easier.

You need to have a good contractor who can fix it at a reasonable price . You should know what improvements will get you a higher price and need a good agent who can identify potential property to buy and them market it and sell it once it is fixed.

I've read about the new guidelines...I sure hope this gets investors back into the game! Some home buyers want a home that's move in ready. The relaxation of the restrictions is sure to help lessen the foreclosure and short sale inventory. (One can hope! LOL)

I agree, Realtor is very important because we know what the buyers are looking for today. Oh, we looked at a fip house and the owners wanted to carry the note and not at the rate the banks were offering, we walked and I am sure many others did too.

Laura, I think if they offer the credit to investors, we will see a lot more investors. They can use the money to fix the home.

Ray, I like to work with investors because most of the time they just look at the numbers. If it makes sense they can buy as they are pre qualified.
