Inspired by RainMakers Danced For Rain by Brad Andersohn ~ Community Manager, I continue to express my gratitude to ActiveRain by ....Dancing in the Rain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Literally, I dance in the Rain and have done so for almost three years (come March) while engaging my readers with a variety of topics including but not limited to real estate, local area information, local businesses, Hawaii Photos and Scenery, personal thoughts and of course my family.
Keeping balance has been key to my success and I had to add blogging into my time management plan. You see, ‘Dancing in the Rain' also meant to give back to the community, interact with my peers, help out when a member needed me and connect while learning from others as well.
It became all time consuming to get into a routine with blogging, taking care of my other websites and social networking sites as well as making sure my transactions were well in order. Family was sometimes on the side lines and I had to get a grip and divvy out my time to include my family as well.
For without family what is this life worth?
And then along came the success while ‘Dancing in the Rain'. Everything I wrote became a way to interact with the consumer and my peers. Both brought me business from smacking the keys on my keyboard (which by the way...I've gone through four because the letters were no longer legible) as well as meeting and making valuable relationships with all.
We ALL have experienced some kind of "difference" in this current real estate market. My whole life turned around with curve balls, both personal and business, both big and small although I continued to do what I knew would work.......
I danced hard in the Rain and will continue to do so.
Because....
If not for Dancing in the Rain.....I would not have weathered this Great Storm.
Note: What does this have to do with my anniversary? Because my husband and family saw the value of this wonderful dance....of ActiveRain......and supported me through all.
Happy Anniversary Gary!
Special thanks to Bob Stewart, ActiveRain's Community Evangelist who's patience, caring and understanding...got me through the hard times :)
