This chart I found on a blog from Philly shows how the top four states stack up against the rest of the country.

Woo-Hoo! Bring 'em on. We need more housing inventory. It's a strong seller's market here in San Ramon CA and many sellers are requiring buyers to waive the appraisal contingency.

I am surprised to not see Nevada or Michigan with all of the abandoned houses in Detroit (20% of the cities homes).

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments.  I though Nevada, Ohio, or Michigan would be ahead of Illinois in total numbers.  I believe they are ahead if you look at the numbers per capita.
