Hi All: 20 years working as a husband/wife team we have achieved a modicum of success. What is missing is the ability to take a vacation while our clients are happily taken care of! We have an administrative assistant but need to add at least one agent to our team. As listing specialists working in the eastbay of the San Francisco Bay Area, we find some houses are staying on the market for months, even after many price reductions. With 8 active listings we are constantly asked, expected, to do open houses by seller's desperate to sell. We cannot be at all 8 plus we need to go away now and then for a vacation (we know the "open houses don't sell houses dialogue and use it often, believe me!). We are in desperate need to find a way to add to our team and would love your feedback as to what has worked for you as a team! We don't just want a buyer's agent; we want someone who can handle our business when we go away, someone who can hold Sunday and Broker's Open houses, not afraid to work weekends. We need someone with experience; not a raw rookie. We want creative ideas on the compensation plan. Appreciate hearing from you all. (None of our 4 kids is ready or willing to join us at this time, as that was our wish.)
