Snapshot Lino Lakes, MN by Teri Eckholm Realtor

The number of closed sales made a dramatic rebound in Lino Lakes, Minnesota in 2009. After an over 25% decline in homes sold in 2008 in the Lino Lakes area, there was a similar resurgence of buyers in 2009. With the lower average price point, this was undoubtedly the result of the first time home buyer tax credit combined with bank owned and mediated inventory on the real estate market. It took about a couple of weeks longer to sell a home in Lino Lakes, Minnesota in 2009 but overall homes were selling in this Anoka County community. The number of new listings was up over 8% during the year, but that does not mean that inventory levels are high. In the lower price points, real estate inventory is very manageable. Teri, I'm not going to comment on the market, but your water tower is just like the two brand new ones built recently in my city.  They're so humongous and gray, and haven't been painted yet.  I'm glad I saw your picture here--there's hope that ours would look kinda, sorta, nice.  lol

Yolanda--You know there are some nice watertowers and some down right ugly ones. I have to drive by one in Blaine that is a big cement eyesore too. But they do have this community names on them so make nice photos for market posts.
